Cow horn whetstone holder

Traditional whetstone holder handmade from genuine cow horn. Used to carry whetstones while mowing. Can be worn on a belt or trousers using a strong metal clip. It is filled with water and allows for comfortable, continuous sharpening of the scythe directly in the field while mowing – so you always have the whetstone at hand. It is very light and does not get in the way when worn. Each piece is handcrafted with attention to detail and functionality.

Each piece is unique. The colour of natural horn can range from sandy to blonde, reddish brown to black. It is not possible to choose a specific shade. The photo is for illustration purposes only.

Our tip: We recommend placing a piece of cloth at the bottom of the whetstone holder to prevent the whetstone from slipping too deep into the narrow part of the horn.
