GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS – VESELÝ KOSEC
1. Introductory Provisions
The operator of the online shop www.veselykosec.sk is MIDOMA s. r. o., registered office: Strelníky 218, 976 55 Strelníky, Slovakia, Company ID: 56516827, Tax ID: 2122333829 (hereinafter referred to as the “Seller”).
These General Terms and Conditions (hereinafter “GTC”) govern the rights and obligations between the Seller and the customer (hereinafter “Buyer”) when purchasing goods or services via the online shop.
2. Orders and Conclusion of the Purchase Agreement
The Buyer places an order via the online shop order form. The order becomes binding once confirmed by the Seller; at that moment the purchase agreement is concluded.
- The Buyer must provide complete and accurate details. The Seller is not liable for delays or failed delivery caused by incorrect information.
- By submitting the order, the Buyer confirms that they have read and accepted these GTC without reservations.
- The Seller reserves the right to verify the order by phone or email.
3. Prices and Payment Terms
All prices are listed in euros including VAT and are valid at the time the order is placed. Confirmed orders are not affected by later price changes. The Seller issues a tax invoice with each delivery.
Payment methods:
- Cash on personal collection – free of charge
- Cash on delivery – €2 fee
- Bank transfer (EUR) – free of charge (IBAN: SK47 8330 0000 0027 0299 7270)
- Payment card online (EUR or CZK) – free of charge via Shoptet Pay
- Bank transfer (CZK) – free of charge (IBAN: SK05 8330 0000 0021 0326 2352)
Payment for courses must be made in advance within 3 days of registration; otherwise, the reservation may be cancelled.
4. Delivery Conditions
Dispatch and delivery times:
- Goods IN STOCK: dispatched within 1–2 working days (cash on delivery) or 1–2 days after payment is received (bank transfer).
- Customized goods (e.g. peened scythes): delivery time may be extended depending on capacity; the Buyer will be informed by email.
- Out of stock goods: the Buyer will be informed about availability by phone or email. Restocking and delivery usually take 2–3 weeks.

The Buyer bears the shipping costs according to the chosen delivery method. Current shipping prices are always displayed on the online shop.
5. Right of Withdrawal
The Buyer – consumer has the right to withdraw from the purchase agreement without giving any reason within 14 days of receiving the goods (or within 14 days of the conclusion of a service agreement).
- Withdrawal must be sent in writing or by email to info@veselykosec.sk. The goods must be returned within 14 days of withdrawal to: MIDOMA s. r. o., Strelníky 218, 976 55 Strelníky, Slovakia.
- The Buyer bears the direct costs of returning the goods and is responsible for any reduction in value due to handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.
- The Seller will refund the received payments including standard shipping costs (the cheapest available shipping method) within 14 days of receiving the withdrawal, but not before receiving the goods back or proof of their return.
- Exceptions: The right of withdrawal does not apply to goods made to the Buyer’s specifications or goods which deteriorate quickly, in accordance with §7(6) of Slovak Act No. 102/2014 Coll.
6. Complaints and Warranty
All goods are covered by the statutory 24-month warranty unless stated otherwise. Complaints do not cover normal wear and tear or damage caused by improper use.
Complaint procedure:
- Submit complaints without undue delay by email to info@veselykosec.sk or by post to MIDOMA s. r. o., Strelníky 218, 976 55 Strelníky, Slovakia. Include a description of the defect, proof of purchase and, if possible, photos.
- Return the goods properly packed to prevent damage during transport.
- The Seller will determine how the complaint will be handled immediately, or within 3 working days in complex cases. Complaints will be resolved no later than 30 days after submission.
- If this period expires without resolution, the Buyer has the right to withdraw from the contract or request replacement of the goods.
7. Personal Data Protection
Personal data is processed in accordance with GDPR and Slovak Act No. 18/2018 Coll. Details on data processing and the rights of data subjects are available in the separate Privacy Policy published on the online shop.
8. Alternative Dispute Resolution
If the Buyer – consumer is not satisfied with the handling of a complaint, they may contact the Slovak Trade Inspection Authority or use the EU online dispute resolution platform (ODR): https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
9. Course Terms
Scythe mowing courses take place from May to October, only in suitable weather conditions and with a minimum of 4 participants.
Conditions and cancellation policy:
- Registration is valid only after payment of the course fee. The participant’s place is reserved once payment is received.
- Cancellation by the participant: free of charge up to 3 days before the course; 50% cancellation fee if cancelled later.
- Cancellation by the Seller (bad weather, insufficient participants, etc.): a new date will be offered or a full refund provided within 14 days.
10. Rights and Obligations of the Buyer
- The Buyer must use the goods in accordance with the instructions and safety guidelines provided.
- The Buyer must check the integrity of the package upon delivery. If visibly damaged, it is recommended not to accept the parcel or to have the courier issue a damage report.
11. Final Provisions
- The Seller reserves the right to amend these GTC. The version published on the online shop at the time of the order shall apply.
- Any legal relations not regulated by these GTC are governed by the laws of the Slovak Republic, in particular the Civil Code and consumer protection legislation.
